Walmart Launches “Get On The Shelf” Contest

Walmart Labs is launching an internet based competition called “Get On The Shelf” offering contestants a chance to win product placement on Walmart’s website.   The contest asks contestants to submit a short video showing the features of their product along with a short description. The winning inventor will also receive marketing support, advice on scaling up and product placement on Walmart store shelves.

The contest is now accepting entries and will continue to do so until February 22, 2012.
