Nominations Open for National Medal of Technology and Innovation

       The National Medal of Technology and Innovation is an honor awarded by the President of the United States to American innovators who have made significant contributions to economic, environmental and social well-being through the development of new and important technology.  The medal was first awarded in 1985 and past recipients include Bill Gates, Proctor and Gamble, and IBM.
