2013 Inductees to National Inventors Hall of Fame Announced

The 2013 inductees to the National Inventors Hall of Fame were announced yesterday and include inventors known for plasma displays, cellular technology and electronic synthesizers.

“The National Inventors Hall of Fame annually accepts nominations for men and women whose work has changed society and improved the quality of life.  The candidate’s invention must be covered by a United States patent, and the work must have had a major impact on society, the public welfare, and the progress of science and the useful arts.”

The induction will be held May 1, 2013 at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office headquarters in Alexandria, VA.
